Product Description

Incoloy 800 steel plate is a high temperature resistant nickel alloy available in cold and hot rolled solid solution custom forms.

Incoloy 800 is primarily used in applications with temperatures up to 1100°F, while alloys 800H and 800HT are used in temperatures above 1100°F where resistance to creep and rupture is required. The chemical balance provides excellent resistance to carburization, oxidation and nitriding atmospheres.

Incoloy 800HT maintains its properties even after prolonged use in the 1200-1600°F range where many stainless steels become brittle. It exhibits excellent cold forming characteristics typical of nickel-chromium alloys and can be welded using common stainless steel techniques.

The variations (800, 800H, 800HT) differ in carbon content and heat treatment requirements, resulting in slightly different properties while maintaining similar high temperature performance characteristics.

These superalloys are widely used in extreme environments requiring heat and corrosion resistance, including chemical processing, power plants, and oil and gas industries.
