TA18 titanium alloy offers exceptional strength, corrosion resistance, processing performance and biocompatibility, making it ideal for demanding applications across multiple industries.
TA18 titanium alloy demonstrates high strength and excellent plasticity at room temperature with tensile strength of 900-1100MPa, yield strength of 850-950MPa, and elongation after fracture of 12%-15%. It features superior fatigue performance and corrosion resistance, particularly in marine environments, with typical elongation of 15%-20% and high impact toughness for energy absorption under load.
TA18 exhibits outstanding corrosion resistance, especially in marine atmospheres and acid-base environments, with exceptional chloride ion resistance. It maintains performance in high temperature/pressure conditions, making it suitable for chemical equipment and marine engineering applications.
TA18 offers excellent hot working properties for forging and extrusion, though cold working requires attention to work hardening with appropriate annealing. It features superior weldability and cold forming capabilities, ideal for aircraft high-pressure lightweight ducts.
