Nickel copper alloy Monel 400/K500 (UNS N04400/N05500) plates are high-performance materials with exceptional corrosion resistance in petrochemical applications.
Monel 400 Alloy
Monel 400 alloy (UNS N04400) is a nickel-based material offering superior corrosion resistance in seawater, chemical solvents, ammonia, sulfur, chlorine, hydrogen chloride, and various acidic media including sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid, hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid, organic acids, alkaline media, salts and molten salts.

Monel K500 Alloy
Monel K500 alloy offers superior corrosion resistance with higher strength and hardness than Monel 400, achieved through the addition of Al and Ti elements and heat treatment. It maintains the same corrosion resistance as Monel 400 while providing approximately three times the yield strength and twice the tensile strength.
Applications include pump shafts, impellers, conveyor scrapers, oil well drill rings, elastic components, valve pads, heat exchangers, boiler feed water heaters, and various petrochemical equipment. Its low corrosion rate in seawater makes it ideal for marine applications.
