C276 Hastelloy, also known as Inconel C276, is a high-performance nickel-based alloy composed primarily of nickel, molybdenum, chromium, and iron. This alloy offers exceptional corrosion resistance and superior mechanical properties, making it ideal for demanding industrial environments.

The mechanical properties of Hastelloy alloy are particularly notable, featuring high strength and toughness. Machining this alloy presents some challenges, as its deformation rate at 15% is approximately twice that of 18-8 stainless steel. At elevated temperatures, Hastelloy may absorb harmful elements that could reduce its mechanical properties and corrosion resistance.
