316L stainless steel is a premium austenitic stainless steel material with exceptional corrosion resistance, antibacterial properties, and thermal insulation characteristics. The composition of 316L stainless steel includes 16-18% chromium (Cr), 10-14% nickel (Ni), and 2-3% molybdenum (Mo), with carbon content below 0.03% (denoted by "L" for Low Carbon). This low carbon content minimizes carbide precipitation during welding, enhancing corrosion resistance.
